Trustees
Trustees - although not a biblical office, state laws require a specific body within the church to serve as the legal representative for the church that will hold legal title to the property of the church and who is responsible for its financial affairs. Trustees at Mount Pisgah serve in that capacity. They serve as representatives in signing all legal documents that involve the purchase, sale, mortgaging and rental property but only as directed by the church. Others may be voted by the Church to be signers, if needed as credit checks are (or may be) needed. All Trustee purchases are upon church approval unless in emergency situations. Trustees are also entrusted with the oversight and general upkeep of the church property, grounds, security, and facilities. Being overseers of church finances, the men and women chosen as trustees are good stewards of what God has given the church and are dependable, hardworking and are faithful in financial support of the church.
Trustees are elected annually
